Kjartan Furset, Senior Manager at Nordic Semiconductor. Kjartan Furset gained his M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Trondheim, Norway in 1996. The same year, Furset joined Nordic Semiconductor as an Analog IC Designer. Over the years he has worked in IC design, Test and Qualification, as well as several years in technical customer support before he relocated to Hong Kong for establishing Nordic’s technical support team in Asia Pacific in 2005. In 2008 he joined the Product Management team where he currently holds the position of Senior Manager, Strategic Planning. His main focus is product planning and technical marketing, focusing on the needs of Asia Pacific customers particularly. In his spare time, he enjoys sailing and is the Vice Chairman of the Norwegian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.
