Dr. Ben Hussein,Currently based at Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital. Ben Hussein is an aspiring physician, whose special interests lie in Orthopedics Surgery, Rehabilitation Medicine and Rheumatology. His experience extends beyond Orthopedics, to General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Radiology, Pediatrics and Neonatal Medicine. Presently training in these respective fields at Zhejiang University’s Affiliated Hospitals, Ben, also obtained specialist elective qualifications in Orthopedic Surgery from Harvard University’s School of Medicine, Boston, Massachusetts. With further regard to his medical interests, Ben’s current research surrounds the surgical management of patients with Orthopedics diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, corrections of fractures and extremity deformities, bone remodeling and arthroscopic surgery. His research paper further outlines the analysis of genetic influences and the application growth factors in bone surgery in the treatment of bone pathologies. Ever since deciding to move to Hangzhou in the pursuit of his continuing medical education and training, Ben has been proactive with his scientific contributions by attending previous conferences in Global Health and Neurosurgery. His experience in Global health can be further attributed to his qualifications at University College London (UCL) in the United Kingdom, from where he received his certification. His future aim is to provide breakthrough knowledge in Orthopedics surgery to ensure the effective management of patients. Furthermore, he wishes to drive and expand his research and expertise to overcome orthopedic challenges seen in rehabilitation.
