Dr. Mitchell Rosen is a reproductive endocrinology and fertility expert at the UCSF Center for Reproductive Health. He also is director of the UCSF Fertillity Preservation Center, which helps patients with cancer preserve their ability to have children, despite aggressive cancer treatment. Rosen earned a medical degree at Saint Louis University and completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. During medical and residency training, he was named the best resident twice and received the Ortho-McNeil Best Resident Teacher Award in 2002. Rosen completed fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at UCSF. He was trained in the UCSF embryology laboratory to qualify as a high complexity lab director (HCLD). In addition to caring for patients, he is an assistant professor of medicine at UCSF and teaches medical students, residents and fellows.
